Announcing

The Jane Pesci-Townsend Fund
for Excellence in Musical Theatre Education

The purpose of this fund is to ensure the continued tradition of excellence in musical theatre education provided by The Theatre Lab’s Musical Theatre Institute for Teens, a program inaugurated by legendary performer and teacher Jane Pesci-Townsend in 2001.

The fund will support:

• A faculty of exemplary theatre professionals;
• Acquisition of performing rights to socially relevant musicals offering special challenges and rewards for young artists; and
• The Musical Theatre Institute for Teens’ well-documented tradition of promoting diversity and ensuring accessibility to quality arts training through need-based scholarships.
